Well it’s here folks, no not Palin’s announcement (At least not yet.), it’s the first of September. Just as Sarah Palin said last month, September is the “drop dead date,” to decide whether to run for president.
Palin is keynoting an Iowa speech this Saturday and she’ll be in New Hampshire on Monday.
While it’s unknown if Palin will announce in the next few days (fingers crossed), you will likely start to hear a lot of buzz about a possible Palin candidacy.
If Palin does enter the race, she’ll be an instant frontrunner and will conduct a very unconventional campaign.
The GOP polls could also look something like this if she jumps in:
Perry 23%
Palin 20%
Romney 18%
Basically Bachmann’s shot at the White House is over and the Perry lovefest will come to an end.
However, if Palin doesn’t run, she will still very much be part of the debate. Her endorsement will propel you to the finish line and guarantee you the nomination. Palin sitting out would change everything and even possibly put her back in the running for Vice President.
If I had to bet, I’d strongly lean towards Palin running and yes, winning.
With that, we are now within 30 days of
Palin’s 2012 plans.
